The final frontier

Eu sempre gostei do espaço e de coisas com ele relacionado... Afinal, "O caminho das estrelas" pode ser ficção, mas numa coisa eles acertaram: O espaço é de facto a última fronteira. Falando de espaço, normalmente volto-me mais para a Lua porque além de ser o que de mais próximo temos, é onde, vendo bem as coisas, eu tenho mais hipóteses de um dia ir! :D A guy can dream I guess... :P
No entanto, tanta coisa para ir à Lua e quando se chega lá o que provavelmente mais saltará à vista é a visão do nosso planetazito! Um "nascer da terra", "pôr da terra", um "eclipse terrestre". Tudo isto demonstrado pelas imagens que se seguem e pelas palavras do astronauta Bill Anders da Apollo 8.


"Because we were being trained to go to the moon… We were trained to get there. So, getting there was the big event.… It wasn't 'going to the moon and looking back at the Earth.' I never even thought about that! In lunar orbit, it occurred to me that, here we are, all the way up there at the moon, and we're studying this thing, and it's really the Earth as seen from the moon that's the most interesting aspect of this flight."
