Ando a ler os livros todos do Harry Potter, o feiticeiro que toda a gente conhece e que faz vender livros, filmes, vassouras de plástico, impermeáveis, etc. Já tinha lido os quatro primeiros livros da saga - Harry Potter e a Pedra Filosofal , Harry Potter e a Câmara dos Segredos , Harry Potter e o Prisioneiro de Azkaban e Harry Potter e o Cálice de Fogo - todos em português. Destes, o que gostei mais foi o terceiro e o que gostei menos foi o quarto. Agora, estou a ler os outros dois. Para já, ainda vou no quinto, Harry Potter e a Ordem da Fénix , pouco adiante da metade, mas estou a ler em inglês - Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix . Lê-se muito bem o original, até podia ter lido os outros em inglês! Depois, ainda tenho o Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince . Ficam estas sugestões de leitura para quem ainda não leu; quanto aos filmes, não gostei, por isso não os aconselho, vejam se quiserem!

NEW YORK (AP) -- Fred, a tabby who found fame as the "Undercover Kitten," has died in a traffic accident, the Brooklyn district attorney's office said Friday. Fred was a rescued stray when he was enlisted by law enforcers in February. He posed as a would-be patient to help police nab a man pretending to be a veterinarian. Pois é, pois é, cá estamos, meus amigos. Hoje lembrei-me de umas coisas interessantes. Lembrei-me de fazer um concurso (não, o título do post não era uma alusão a outra coisa qualquer, escrita sem aparente nexo só para vos fazer perder tempo a ler este post :P). Um concurso sobre algo útil e, a meu ver, muito interessante. Assim sendo, lembrei-me de começar (concurso n.º 1, quiçá se não virão mais...) por um concurso de ideias e acções relacionadas com a Educação Ambiental. Título do concurso: Ecolideias Regras e modo de participação: Quem quiser participar, tem que deixar um comentário neste post, devidamente identificado. No comentário, devem constar ideias para pouparmos a Mãe Natureza e tornarmo-la mais vital e saudável, numa altura em que sabemos que muitos dos seus recursos estão em risco. Essas ideias têm que ser sugestões de algo que já se pratique - e que quem comenta a execute, é importante! (ex.: separar o lixo, etc.) - ou então de algo que possa ser melhorado ou implementad...

Capitalist robber barons in the UK will now have the option of making a cashless fortune thanks to a new version of the game that features an electronic card from Visa instead of paper money. The new card, which resembles a debit card, is inserted into a small plastic reader/writer that can display and update the balance on the card. Traditional money is gone altogether, though purists can still purchase the original version. Visa's partnership with Parker Bros. seems designed to bolster the belief that using paper money is baffling and insecure. A new version of the game also features updated London property prices, with the most expensive spot going to Kensington Palace Gardens at £4 million.
