Four beers taken too

A Heartland woman reported to police a strange burglary at her home. The place was ransacked, but the only things taken were a tuna sandwich and four beers.

The 52-year old woman lives in the Levi Carter Neighborhood, near 16th and Ames Avenue.

She told Omaha Police when she returned home on Saturday, December 6th she noticed a window was broken, and when she went inside the home was trashed.

The thieves had searched high and low, apparently for something of value to steal, but settled for the sandwich and beer.

A parte do "Aaah e repare-se que destacaram um repórter para o local... isto sim é jornalismo a sério. Eat your heart out 24 horas! =D" recorda-me de um comentário no Telejornal de ontem à noite, aquando da reportagem de Gaza. Dizia-se "muitas estações jornalísticas interromperam as suas férias para montarem tenda no local". Ermm... estações jornalísticas de férias? E eu que passei 6 anos a pensar que essas profissões não tiram férias à maluca. :P
